1983 Audi Ur Quattro - Keith Anderson's Race-Ready Ur Quattro

Few know more about Audi performance and the appeal of the quad rings than Keith Anderson, proprietor of Anderson Motorsport in Chanhassen, Minn. Anderson has built a credible reputation as one of the country's premier Audi sport tuners. As well, Keith, along with his identical twin brother Kent, played a large roll in the conception and expansion of the Audi Club of America (formally called the Quattro Club). The company's penchant for performance and quality workmanship is evident in Keith's 1983 Ur Quattro. Exceptionally immaculate, the car also points to Keith's rather obsessive nature toward detail.

After purchasing this car in 1990, it was used primarily for Audi Club promotions via club driving schools throughout the country. As the number of events increased so did the car's modifications. Aside from a few mild Audi Sport graphics, the car now sits quite complete. It is still used for Audi Club driving schools nationally, and Keith has also considered running in a vintage series such as SVRA.

There are some who have questioned Keith's recognized passion for such a car. The answer is in his reply: "The Ur Quattro started it all. For its time, it was the epitome of all-wheel-drive engineering. It was a pioneer, a leader. This car shook the ralley world and turned it upside down. Nothing came close and its technology continues to impress, even today, a quarter century later."
