The IA GT700 package has the fattest torque curve I've ever experienced. The car already makes 400 lb-ft of torque by 2500 rpm. Step on the throttle at 40 mph in third gear and the low end torque pins you back solid. You grin like an idiot. By 55 mph-that's at 4000 rpm, where there's over 700 lb-ft of torque-your mirth may morph into fear as you begin to wonder what you just got into. Then something happens at 5000 rpm, like a giant camshaft kicking in to slingshot you into a warp speed. It's ridiculous, and, in all honesty, I've never driven anything quicker.
