Borla's exhaust for the latest MINI Cooper S is reportedly derived from a history of racing experience-company CEO Alex Borla raced with the original Coopers in European endures. System attributes include a tone structure that makes aggressive noises at wide-open throttle, yet stays mellow at speed. You can choose an even more aggressive sound by fitting the S-type muffler or run with the standard Touring system. Construction employs durable austenitic stainless steel, which the company claims is superior to 409 or aluminized steel, and each system is backed by Borla's signature million-mile warranty. GTSPEC under-body braces are manufactured from military-grade 6061 aluminum and are designed to address the weak points in OEM under-body design. KW's coilover suspension setup for the Audi R8 enables owners to lower their vehicle 20 and 25mm front and rear, respectively, yet they're engineered to retain enough travel to handle maximum load and dynamic loads during driving. Adjustable (and independently reacting) rebound and compression damping allow for an individual driving configuration for the most technically demanding drivers. Compression damping adjustment is conducted in the low-speed range, while the high-speed setup, critical for driving comfort, has been pre-set by KW engineers. Each coilover suspension is built to stringent German TV testing standards. $4,795

There are airboxes, and then there's the Werks One airbox for the 997 Turbo (built by a subsidiary of Champion Motorsport). Aside from being jaw-droppingly gorgeous, it was developed to provide a proper and effective way of delivering a larger volume of air to the engine. This is achieved by simplifying the airflow path and removing abrupt changes in flow direction. The sealed intake system assures that only cold air enters the engine, while the free-flow ITG filter elements keep out debris. The airbox also delivers an enhanced aesthetic appeal to the engine bay with its flawless carbon fiber construction and CNC Billet aluminum hardware.

Neuspeed's Hi-Flo intercooler conversion kit is designed to eliminate the restrictions found in the factory intercooler system. The kit consists of the Hi-Flo front intercooler pipe and Neuspeed Hi-Flow Discharge conversion. The former replaces the kinked plastic pipe located between the intercooler and throttle body; constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, it maintains the same diameter all the way through for better efficiency. The latter removes the last restriction on the discharge side of the turbocharger plumbing. Both parts are also available separately and fit all transversely mounted 2.0 TFSI engines. $169.95 and $299.95 respectively. Available as a pair for $449.95.
