Vehicle was tested using Texaco 91-octane, the highest-grade fuel available at a traditional filling station. Tested at Eurosport Accessories, Anaheim, California, on a Dynojet chassis dynamometer. Ambient temperature was between 65 and 72 degrees F.

This is a well-made component that adds a great sound. The performance gain, while not huge, represents a solid bump throughout the rev range. If the owner is considering more in-depth modifications, this filter will support far more flow.

The loss of power from this exhaust reinforces our feeling that this car is already factory-optimized. The stock exhaust featured bizarrely shaped tubing that appeared more like organic intestines than metal pipe. Knowing BMW, we're sure it was that way for good reason. In hindsight, we should have fitted the 330i with SuperSprint's entire exhaust system including it's laser-cut, port-matched headers and sport cats. Even more performance might be possible with software optimized for use with this particular exhaust.
Given its fine quality and fit, we would not hesitate to use this system on our own car.
