This chart isolates EHP's stage-one intake kit with its OBD-II cam kit, which I've labeled stage three, so you can see the differences more clearly. It also shows the two setups Jon compares in his track experience (page 91). Yes, the stage one is a significant improvement over stock and yielded the highest peak torque in the entire test. But even with the low- and mid-range torque advantage it simply is no match for the cam kit in straight-line performance. That's a 45 hp and 34 lb-ft deficit at 7000 rpm.
