Stoptech's ST-40 four-piston caliper weighs 8.2 lb without pads. One of its unique features is a bolt-in bridge with a vent for air to escape the edge of the rotor as it passes. With a solid caliper bridge, airflow through the rotor vanes stops as it passes the caliper. By providing a way for the air to escape, Stoptech has reduced the effect significantly.
