Because of our project car's pre-facelift status, various hardware relating to the European rear bumper was required, including bumper retaining brackets and heat shielding specific to the bumper's lower dimensions. For the best results, McKenna's Collision and Repair Center uses a two-stage base coat/clear coat process, using only Glasurit factory Porsche paint. In this case, Porsche Arctic Silver. Three coats of base and two coats of clear were expertly applied by certified paint technician Louis Leon. For paints such as the metallic acrylic urethane used, a process of blending the doors and hood with the bumper and fenders provides a seamless result with no color variation.
