Next, the large bolt pinching the bottom of the strut in the steering knuckle is removed, allowing the suspension to droop and the knuckle to come away from the strut. If any "persuasion" is required, keep it gentle. The three nuts holding the strut top mount to the body in the engine compartment are removed, allowing the strut to come free. View Related Article
