The fundamental components of the turbo kit include a larger airflow meter, a 3-in.-thick intercooler, an AA exhaust manifold with nickel content for strength and a Mitsubishi 20G turbocharger. The turbo alone weighs 18 lb and the manifold weighs 23 lb (versus 20.75 for the stock manifolds). All together the car gained about 40 lb, bringing it back to the original 3,220 lb.
