The Stoptech big-brake kit looks awesome and has incredible stopping power. These much larger rotors weigh 17.2 lb compared to 15.6 lb for stock. Slotted rotors were chosen for their greater strength versus cross-drilled rotors. Upon installation, Stoptech advises a bedding-in process, which includes ten hard 60-to-10-mph decelerations and then four 80-to-10-mph decelerations (it's recommended to perform this only on a track).
