The 2013 Salone del Mobile (April 9-14) will feature the Mini Paceman as a dynamic sculpture. Anders Warming, head of Mini design, will present the sculpture in the Paceman 'Garage' to inspire creative interchange.

The inspiration behind the sculpture is from the car's Sports Activity Coupe attributes, which are emotionally led, breaking away from the normality of most automotive personalities.

The sculpture comes in two stages, and stage one is the rear of the Paceman, which has colorful threads coming from all directions, representing a highly energy-charged process. At the same time, the Paceman is connected to the profiles at the front end of the car.

Stage two begins in the middle, where the standard form is abandoned and is an idea made from paper, with the shape hidden by random pieces. While the paper covers the unknown shape, it also represents the creative process of automotive design.

The goal of the exhibit is not only showcase past Minis, but also well-known film and cult personalities.
