For many of the world's sports car company's, where model changes are counted in years rather than months, incorporating the latest technology can be a costly business that takes far longer than large volume producers who are constantly updating their models. So we received news that Ferrari has finally embraced the Apple brand into its cars.

The first application is on the four-seat AWD FF model that sees direct access to the car's infotainment system through Siri Eyes Free vocal commands. This will allow the driver to access music and telephone functions with voice activation, allowing the eyes to remain on the road.

Rear seat passengers can also embrace the brave new world by viewing movies, video games or web content via two iPad Mini fitted to the back of each headrest. This is the first fruit from the new collaboration, which will undoubtedly spawn other applications in the future.
