Much like the successful Continental GT, the new Flying Spur is very much a logical evolution of what went before, with familiar styling cues from the Continental at the front leading into an elegant 4 door limousine silhouette finished at the rear with - what, hang on, something has gone wrong back here! Maybe we should leave stylistic observations alone but these new horizontal lights are nothing like as elegant, or cohesive, as the pleasing vertical items of old - or the range topping Mulsanne. Might be something in that...

The latest version of the venerable 6.0l W12 provides motive power, 625bhp is probably enough, especially considering this car weighs 50kg less than it's predecessor for a 14% improved power to weight ratio. In unison with the new 8 speed auto the 'junior' Bentley limo hits 60mph in 4.3secs, and breaks the 200mph barrier. You can surf the net as you bask in wood & leather trimmed luxury in the back at these speeds. Who needs air travel!
