Once upon a time show cars turned production reality used to be a source of disappointment, never quite able to carry over the styling extravagence of the designers pen. Anyone remember the original Boxster show car? Exactly.
Thankfully it's a trend that is eroding, and the Alfa 4C carries almost every bit of the stunning concept cars stunning lines into production reality. If the the 1750cc Turbo engine - mounted in the middle, where it should be - and lightweight chassis can carry off even 50% of the looks promise Alfa's return to the US deserves to be a huge success.
