In anticipation of the New Year, Aston Martin is letting everybody know its 100th birthday is just around the corner - January 15th, 2013 to be exact.

Aston Martin will mark the occasion starting with a commemorative plaque unveiling at the companies first home, Henniker Mews in Chelsea, UK. With special guests a 1921 prototype Aston Martin A3 and the Vanquish.

That evening the Aston Martin Heritage Trust Walter Hayes Memorial Lecture will take place, as Sir John Standing playing the role of Lionel Martin will tell the story of the companies humble beginnings and how their first car came to fruition.

Considering the Brits couldn't possibly capture the Aston Martin centenary celebration in just one evening, a week long festival of all things Aston Martin will take place January 15 - 21, 2013. Meant as a pilgrimage destination for all Aston owners and enthusiasts, open house activities at the Aston Martin Gaydon headquarters will include factory tours and various events throughout the facilities.

What Aston gala wouldn't be complete without a massive organized caravan filled with a centuries worth of Astons? A centenary drive is planed to tour through various parts of London highlighting the best iconic Bond film locations. The complete drive will take place from the Highlands to the Islands of Scotland and rally through six European countries in six days.

But if your Aston is located in America and can't make the voyage to its birthplace, The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance will be dedicating a part of its weeklong festivities to the centenary drive. Highlighting some of the best roads on the West coast for all Aston Martin drivers to enjoy.
