Somewhat drowned out by the fanfare of the all-new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the company’s California hardtop convertible makes a bid to be taken more seriously in the 2013 model year. It has lost 66 pounds in weight and gained 30 hp, bringing the 4.3-liter V8’s pony tally up to 490, plus 372 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from standstill to 60 mph takes a fleeting 3.8 seconds. There’s also an optional handling package for stiffer springs and quicker steering. Feel like buying one now?
