There’s a new Ferrari on the block. Sadly, it’s the kind of Prancing Horse that has never been as popular as cars like the 355. Yep, it’s a four-seater. Hence the name: FF, standing for Ferrari Four. Unlike the Aston Martin Rapide, this model didn’t go for four passenger doors, but it did go for all-wheel drive. Apparently, the system has been developed by Ferrari and is half the weight of a conventional AWD setup. The usual Maranello high-tech is also in evidence, like a 6.2-liter V12 that develops 651 hp and 504 lb-ft of torque, a dual-clutch gearbox, magnetorheological dampers and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. This shooting brake can shoot from standstill to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 208 mph. The design comes from the famed Pininfarina studios (as long as no one mentions the BMW Z3 Coupe). Ferrari is calling the FF its most versatile four-seater ever. At the time of writing, there is no word on price or availability.
