AMS / Alpha Performance is expanding into the Audi market with complete performance packages, individual components and tuning services. These will begin with the 3.0 TFSI Supercharged V6 and 4.0 TFSI Twin Turbocharged V8 engine platforms and will join the Alpha Audi V10 Turbo System.

Alpha already performs tuning services on other brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Porsche and now Audi will join the group. The company has recently purchased a 2012 B8 S4 and 2013 C7 S6 to further look into development of performance services.

"We don't like using customer cars for development like other firms in the industry. It's a costly expense for us but we don't feel it's fair to our customers to make them guinea pigs when it comes to designing and testing parts," stated AMS VP Arne Toman.

Other Audi models these upgrades will cross over to include: S5, A7, S7 and S8 that all share the same engines. Performance testing of both the S4 and S6 is already underway and include these initial plans:

    Audi S4 (B8 3.0TFSI)
  • ECU Calibration
  • Supercharger Pulley Upgrade
  • Heat Exchanger Upgrade
  • Exhaust components

    Audi S6 (C7 4.0 TFSI Quattro)
  • Heat Exchanger Upgrade
  • Exhaust components
  • Turbocharger Upgrade
  • ECU Calibration
