  • Team profiles and second video to come

While the full sparkling results of this year’s Tuner GP will not be available until the release of the February 2014 issue - on sale Dec 10, 2013 - we offer you this first look video of the event. Hosted by Motor Trend’s YouTube channel, the latest The Downshift episode goes into detail about not only the competition but also european car’s first-ever submission into the event: a daily driven modified E46.

Highlighting Feature Editor Alex Bernstein’s E46 BMW M3 project car, we gain a look into what it takes to stay competitive against a field of established shops from around the country. A host of well-rounded and shop chosen German platforms and a FSWerkes Ford Focus ST entered the ring. Who came out on top? You'll have to wait to find out. We urge those non-German car purveyors to throw their hat in the ring next year as well - some tuned Ferraris and Astons perhaps?!

Stay tuned for profiles of each team along with a second in-depth event video and the full story, available on the website beginning at the start of next month. One team profile will roll out digitally each day leading up to the December 10th release of the full story in print.
