While at SEMA 2013, we stopped at the GoPro booth and caught sight of one of the most exclusive hypercars in the world. The Pagani Huayra is a 720hp lightweight beast that isn't messing around. The engine is quite large for a car under 3000 lb (dry), but provides some killer performance. Such as the claimed 230mph top speed or the 0-60mph time of 3.4sec. The 6.0L twin-turbo V12 is developed exclusively for this car by the team at AMG. This ultra exclusive engine with 720hp and 737lb-ft of torque is mated to a seven-speed, single clutch automated manual transmission built by Xtrac (who makes transmissions for F1 cars and Le Mans prototypes).

But even beyond the incredible performance numbers and exclusivity of the engine is the carbon fiber shell. As you can see in the photos, the entire car is covered in wonderfully exposed carbon fiber. There aren't many cars that can get away with this look, but the Pagani Huayra looks like it was born this way.

The factory, which makes the hypercars, is located in San Cessario sul Panaro, just outside of Modena, Italy. And while it may look like these cars are made in a factory comparative to Ferrari, it is actually quite the opposite. Only 53 people work at the factory, perfecting this extremely rare hypercar.

But its exclusivity isn't the only thing that makes this car so unobtainable to most, it's also the price: all 1.2 million of it. For that price point we hope those guys and gals at the GoPro booth would throw in a few cameras to catch some serious high-speed action.
