The Texas-based tuning company, Hennessey Performance (HPE) will unveil its first modified Ferrari during Monterey Weekend on Friday, August 16th at Concorso Italiano. A second preview will be available on August 17th, when the 738hp twin turbo Ferrari 458 will be on display in Laguna Seca's paddock at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

In stock form, the Ferrari 458’s 4.5L V-8 produces 562hp at 9000rpm. With the HPE700 Twin Turbo upgrade, Hennessey claims the Ferrari delivers 738hp at 8,400 rpm and 532 lb-ft of torque at 5,600 rpm. They also list a claimed quarter-mile time of 10.5 sec at 137 mph. Acceleration from 0-60 mph can be achieved in less than 3.0 seconds, according to HPE, resulting in a more potent Ferrari for the performance enthusiast.

"The HPE700 Twin Turbo 458 delivers a sound and driving experience that few road cars can offer," said company founder John Hennessey. "Aventador owners beware--this car will take you by surprise!"

The extra boost is made possible by a performance package, which includes low-inertia ball-bearing turbochargers tucked up neatly toward the tail end of the dual-clutch sequential 7-speed gearbox, the TIG-welded, mandrel-bent T304 stainless tubing, the twin wastegates and blow-off valves and an aluminum plenum that contains the air-to-water charge-cooler element.

Optional upgrades include Hennessey's 20” monoblock forged wheels and a KW suspension system with 2-way adjustable shocks and threaded spring perches.

The upgrade package costs $59,995 installed, and includes a 1-year/12,000-mile limited warranty.
