With Aston Martin focusing much of its vehicle development and marketing efforts on the famous Nürburgring 24 Hour race each year, it has announced a partnership with suspension specialist Bilstein.

The German company will be a primary technical partner for Aston Martin Racing's program at the ADAC Zurich 24 Hour race in May.

This is seen as an important step because Bilstein dampers are fitted as standard to all Aston Martin road cars, and the new agreement will allow the companies to increase awareness of that.

It also means that the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 will be painted in Bilstein blue and yellow colors.

The cars will be driven by factory drivers Darren Turner (GB) and Stefan Mücke (D), alongside Nürburgring aces Allan Simonsen (DK) and Pedro Lamy (PT).

The Bilstein-liveried V12 Vantage GT3 will be seen first in action at the 60th ADAC Westfalenfahrt 4-hour race (VLN1) on March 23 and again at the 55th ADAC ACAS H&R Cup (VLN3) on April 27. These races are in preparation for the ADAC Zurich 24-Hour race on May 19/20th.
