A few months ago we reported that German tuning house Gemballa had closed operations, owner Uwe Gemballa had gone missing after a trip to South Africa in February 2010, and there was a whole load of financial stuff going down. Well, it's just started up again. Gemballa himself is still MIA, but a chap called Andreas Schwarz has taken the reins and raised a fair bit of investment capital. The showroom at Mollenbachstrasse 17, Leonberg, has re-opened, the factory has just started making body kits for the Porsche Panamera and Cayenne, and Schwarz promises more product in the future.
