It doesn't seem so long ago that the original Mercedes-Benz CLS came out, but it was actually 2003. Time for a new generation. Apart from annoying the heck out of pedants everywhere for bringing the phrase "four-door coupe" into usage, the slope-roofed CLS has been one of the company's more handsome efforts. In the years between then and now, Mercedes has adopted a new design approach inspired by the SLS AMG gullwing coupe, and the second-gen 2012 CLS goes down the same road. Which seems to have turned out rather well.
