First look: 2004 Audi S4

Minimal exterior modifications set the S4s apart from their brethren. Both sedan and Avant sit 20mm lower on a sport-tuned suspension and 8x18-in. Avus cast aluminum wheels. A small spoiler adorns the decklid on the sedan while the Avant gets standard anodized or black aluminum roof rails. Body color side sills and meaningless and unattractive contrasting rub strips run along the bottoms of the doors. The front view differs in the grid-pattern radiator grille, body-colored bumper, large air inlets, xenon headlights with contrasting titanium-colored inner housings and aluminum-look rearview mirrors. The drip rails and window cap strips are also aluminum-look. Exclusive S4 paint colors are Imola Yellow, Brilliant Red, Nogaro Blue and Goodwood Green with a pearl effect. Two blacks (one in pearl), silver and gray metallics and a pearl blue are also available. View Related Article
