Known as a typically quirky Swedish manufacturer, Saab started as an aircraft manufacturer that later translated their knowledge and experience into automobiles. Placing function before form Saabs have never really gained the mainstream popularity of many of its competitors. Most current models are best described as good cars but nothing particularly remarkable. A nice driving experience for someone who is looking something a little different from the typical European sedan.
