Did I mention that all TGP entrants have to be street legal? In Germany, every tuner component down to the gear knob requires a TUV certificate. These are checked by the independent scrutineers from DEKRA.Street legal means that after setting a blinding lap time and collecting your big trophy, you can jack your car up, unwind the suspension's trackday settings and stop by the supermarket for a bottle of champagne on the way home. "Run what you brung" is the Tuner GP spirit.

The Cargraphic Story
In 1985, classic British sports car enthusiasts Thomas and Michael Schnarr started a business specializing in classic English sportscars. But this was a very niche market in Germany, with little growth potential.
Their hobby was Porsches, so they started making special exhausts for 911s and founded Cargraphic, running it in parallel with the classic car operation.
In 1997, they bought Piper Exhausts, from the receivers in England, and created Phoenix Performance in partnership with two of its former employees. By 1999, customers were asking for special wheels as well. Their very first wheel was a custom-made three-piece design.
Now employing 17 staff in Germany and 30 in England, Cargraphic has built up an impressive catalog of bolt-on components for Porsches, and their wheels and exhausts range now extends to Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
