SM-AFR
Running an improper air/fuel ratio can kill an engine, especially after it's been modified. Under normal circumstances, the vehicle's ECU will inform when the car is out of balance, giving time to address the issue. But when a motor has been completely re-engineered with a larger turbo, injectors, and new ECU parameters, that luxury might not be available. The SM-AFR module uses the latest digital PID and DSP technologies to quickly and accurately process data gathered by the Bosch LSU 4.2 wideband sensor, providing a precise air/fuel ratio on any internal combustion engine. Advanced self-calibrating circuitry ensures a true plug-and-play installation. Compatible with gasoline, biodiesel, ethanol, methanol, E85, LPG, and CNG engines. Sensor range: 0.68 lambda to 1.36 lambda. $195
SM-Vac/Boost
The SM-Vac/Boost module uses an internal 43.5-psi manifold absolute pressure sensor to gather vacuum and boost pressure data. The DM-100 system can configure with multiple SM-Vac/Boost modules, so the turbocharger may be monitored independently from the intercooler system. This allows the intercooler to be checked for leaks, or whether the custom plumbing could be causing a pressure loss, and can help arrange the system for optimal boost delivery. Sensor range: 30.5 inHg to 30 psi. $99
SM-EGT
Keeping exhaust gas temperature under control can prevent cooking the turbo or smoking the catalytic converter. The SM-EGT measures exhaust gas or cylinder head temperature on any internal combustion engine. The module is compatible with any type of K-type thermocouple. Sensor range: 32 to 1,873 degrees F. $125
SM-Fluid Temp
SM-FluidTemp measures the temperature of any automotive liquid. The module can operate two sensors. Sensor range: 32 to 302 degrees F. $109 (includes two sensors)
SM-AIT
The SM-AIT measures air intake temperature. Installing two modules with a sensor installed on the inlet and outlet of an intercooler can help determine its efficiency. Sensor range: 32 to 302 degrees F. $125
